Faced with major changes in the marketplace, Bandag, Inc. was making a fundamental shift in its strategic direction. Bandag called on DiffStrat as a strategic consultant to help form and communicate its new vision, mission, and strategic objectives.

DiffStrat helped from conceptualization through implementation by creating a training program that centered around developing a personal commitment in each employee to accept ownership in the future direction and success of the organization. Following the training, each work group began an ongoing Team Alignment Process to ensure that all team and individual goals linked directly to the long-term organizational strategies.
